Lampwork Beads
Here you can buy from my bead sets and focal beads. Some designs are repeated from time to time but as the beads are all handmade individually, no two beads will ever be exactly the same in pattern or shape. I do however spend a great deal of time carefully matching beads for shape, size and colour when putting together a set and there will generally be at least one pair of beads that are close enough to be used for earrings unless the set is totally eclectic. Please also note that most of my donut shape beads in sets are larger than many people make them.
I am very particular about the quality of my beads and will only sell beads with good puckers (the dimple where the hole is on each side) or in the case of gravity swirls, the glass tends to meet the hole at a 90 degree angle which can make a slightly sharp corner (but definitely not a ragged glass edge which could cut a thread used). Seconds can be bought at bead fairs from my bargain pots.
Beads are sold on a first come first served basis.

Tutti Ripple £10
As seen in Beads and Beyond magazine October 2012 issue.
5 beads in transparent dark and light pink, orange and yellow on a base of white. These beads have been made with frit swirled into the base glass and have a lovely mottled appearance where the frit has pooled the colours and left veining in between all the pools. Just yummy.

Monet Blues Mix £10
As seen in Beads and Beyond magazine April 2012 issue.
Monet Blues Mix is a set with a dreamy watery floral feel, inspired by my visit to Giverney last Easter. The set consists of 6 small simple beads in speckled shades of toning magenta, light violet and emerald green layered on pale opaque turquoise, minty green and pale blue (2 of each base colour). I love the way the base glass colour has separated to make lighter shading around each speckle of colour. These beads would be perfect with a pretty floral dress or top.

City Chic £21
City Chic, I think the name says it all, cool, stylish and sophisticated.
8 elegant beads in toning shades of grey and ivory make up this set. 4 encased beads, 3 encased transparent beads and 1 opaque bead all decorated in coordinating dotty, zig-zag and stripy patterns of silvered ivory stringer. Some might say these beads look slightly green, I think that is an unusual effect of the grey glass I have used. Don’t you just love the quirks of glass bead making?

6 simple speckled beads in pastel shades of pink, purple, green and creamy yellow on pale transparent pink and amethyst colour glass. 2 beads in each design make up this set of friters.
